Adobe Acrobat

I have a Word document that I am converting to .pdf using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional. After making it a .pdf, none of the hyperlinks work in the .pdf. Does anyone know how to make them carry over into the .pdf? I know how to create them manually and would prefer not to do that.

Are you converting directly to PDF from inside Word? if so you need to click the Adobe PDF menu on Words taskbar and choose Change Conversion Settings in this menu to preserve hyperlinks check the Add links to Adobe PDF box.

I am creating the document directly from Word. Unfortunately, it seems that is already set as you have described. (See screen print)

I have about 30 links within the document. Out of those only the E-mail links are recognized after it is a .pdf. The remaining ones are links to Web pages and bookmarks to other parts of the multipage document. None of those are recognized.

Any other ideas?

Hi

I cannot recreate an instance where Word didnt have hyperlinks and bookmarks to other docs convert and open in PDF fine ( using Acrobat 7 pro ) unless I turned off that Add Bookmarks option... Sorry

One thing in the Word doc do all the hyperlinks etc work ok? ( are the Web and bookmark links in blue text and undeflined by any chance, if not add a space at the end and shift any words affected back a space )
