I just installed the newest Adobe Reader (v9) via the online method at the Adobe web site. The install went smooth, w/o incident, but upon closing the web browser, I see a new icon called "Acrobat.com" and when I clicked on it, I got a License Agreement dialog.... WTF???? Can anyone shed some light this?

(screen shot attached below so you can see what I'm talking about)

    Thanks....

The Adobe® AIR™ runtime enables you to have your favorite web applications with you all the time. Since applications built for Adobe AIR run on your desktop computer without a web browser, they provide all the convenience of a desktop application. Companies like eBay and AOL are using Adobe AIR to create exciting new applications that allow you to use their services on your desktop.
In short, Adobe AIR means applications that are easier, more powerful, and more fun to use.
