Adobe Flash Online Tv

Hiya,
I usually watch programmes on demand (not live streaming) but whatever i try to want to watch seems to require an updated Adobe Flash download.

On a new laptop i tried to download Flash via Major Geeks but was put through to the author's site to download directly. When i attempted this, my anti-virus suggested not to trust it so i tried again through Major Geeks and again was sent to Adobe's main site. (I see due to legal issues you cannot help download Flash anymore) So, i managed to download it but it brought some nasty malware with it. I'm on my old laptop while the new one gets fixed professionally and dont want to download Flas again if it's going to cause issues with unpleasant third party/malware troubles. can you suggest anything that might help? Can i no longer watch anything online?

Go here:
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
uncheck the middle ticked option for additional software it offers.
In the left it will identify your browser and windows system.
Download and SAVE the set up file.
Close all web browsers.
Run it.
If your AV program says it is unsafe, that is a FALSE positive so either tell the AV program to ignore it, or disable the AV protection while installing.

As long as you UNCHECK any offered additional software (which isn't even malware anyway) you will just get flash.
I've been upgrading this way for years. I have never ever had a problem with it.

ahhh,

ok so i've clicked Flash's "install" button and got the download initialising bar, then the download window with option to "Save" but there was no place to "uncheck the middle option" yet... will that come up after saving it? sorry to be a pain just dont want to mess it up.

The middle screen option to install additional software is BEFORE you click on the far right 'install' button. It has big letters saying 'Optional Offer'.

This is how it should look above - you click in the box for optional offer to REMOVE the tick.
IF you clicked install and save with that tick STILL there, then you need to DELETE that saved file and just do it again but that optional offer box unticked this time.

If you don't get any additional software offer, then great. Just save the file then run it.

on my other laptop that "true key" did come with the download of Flash and thats where it all went wrong...
