Adobe Flash Player Installation Problems

    I am running Window 7 64 Bit on my Dell Inspiron Desktop 546MT (with SP 1 all latest updates included)& 8 gigs ram, and running I.E. 11 and using Google Chrome.

    I have been having lots of problems with a new re-install for Adobe Flash Player, and I have tried searching for solutions, but to no avail. I have uninstalled Flash Player thinking that might have been the problem, but that didn't help either.

    When I go to Adobe and start the down load, and the download is placed into my "Download" folder, I close I.E. and go to the download folder and start the download process. What happens is the Adobe Installation window just sits there and does nothing. Then I have to open Task Manager to end the Adobe Installation.

    I will try any ideas to get Flash layer.

    First run this uninstall tool to be sure the old flash is uninstalled and not interfering with your install.

    This is for IE on Windows 7 and older. It doesn't include all those addons Adobe wants to install. (McAfee, Scan Plus or Google Drive)

    Thanks the solution worked, at least partially, I have been doing training through the VA aandsn some of the lessons say that I need to install Flash Player. What would cause this and how do I correct the problem?

    If you use a browser besides IE, you also need to install flash for that.
