    Hello,

I have a problem with Adobe Flash Player.

Secunia PSI tells me that my version is unsecure. It suggests me a solution to install: version 11.4.402.287.

In the section below, I can see I have two detected installations which are FLash32_11_2_202_228.ocx and FLash32_11_4_402_265.ocx, which both show as unsecure. Sometimes they both show as "actual installation", sometimes, the older one shows as "zombie Installation". I apply the suggested patch, but PSI shows me the program as insecure over and over again.

Is ther a way to start over with adobe flash player? Is it sign of malware?

Please help, thans for your time.

    Greetings, Problems51...

Why not uninstall Flash Player completely and reinstall the program instead of trying to patch it? Seems like that would more likely rid your machine of any related problems.

    Flash Player Uninstaller

Flash Player for Internet Explorer 11.4.402.287

As far as this being malware-related, I seriously doubt it. Looks more like a couple of botched updates.

Thank you both for the link. I did uninstall Flash successfully. I downloaded lastest version from Flash website. Upon installation, however, my Comodo Defense + stumbled upon a file called gbtcheck.exe which was heuristically suspicious. However, the installation did complete automatically. False positive probably? Anyway, PSI shows as secure now.

Does a similar uninstaller exist for Sun Java JRE? Having same type of problems with that too. I would gladly reinstall it completely also.

    Worked nice for JRE :).
PSI shows secure for everything now.

Thank you very much for your help! :wave
