I guess I had forgotten the how to on Adobe Flash Player. I want to update my version it is 16. etc to 17. Do I need to uninstall the old one first and then install the new one? What other programs need to uninstall first the old then the new one. Old age has got me. LOL Thanks.:-D

P.S. you don't need to uninstall the old version if there are no problems with the installer.

If you use the offline installers from my links, there are no steps 1, 2, 3...

pwillener, I suspect the OP means
step 1: Put a check/tick in front of I have read and agree to the terms of the Flash Player License Agreement then click the Install button.
    step 2: Currently Installing
Note: All browsers must be closed when you install flash. Otherwise you get a not responding in the title bar or an error message might appear.
step 3: Installation of Flash Player is complete, then you select the update method and click Done.
