    Hi

This is a known bug in which if you're main OS drive the one with Windows on it is not C: then the install fails, Adobe are working on it http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-1343 there is a workaround http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb406903&sliceId=1, but its not perfect solution for many.

The online Flash Player plugin should work ok when installing for IE as its activex based, but not Firefox sadly as you end up downloading the Flash installer file, which is worth trying that route but I believe its the same issue, if your browser is Firefox.

Apparently, not everyone using Firefox and with Windows installed on a drive/parition other than C is having the problem. I have Windows XP installed on F: and I didn't go through any special procedure to get version 10,0,12,36 installed.

I am having a different problem with Adobe, but this is the most recent thread dealing with Adobe so I'm posting here.

I have to reinstall Adobe nearly every time I log on to the net. Anything involving use of flash will tell me I need to download newest version of flash... evreryday??? and I've downloaded version 10.0.12.36 several times. I found a registry fix, suposedly dealing with this problem, from MS and followed those instructions, but even this has not helped...
(yes, I remove the old version completely before new install)
    Any ideas?

You should start a new topic since your problem is different.
