I am unable to install Adobe Flashplayer 11. After downloading the update from Adobe site, and doing the install, I get the message that it has been installed. However, when I open any program that uses flashplayer...I get the message that I need to install Flashplayer. When I download flashplayer (second time) and try to install I get the message "You have a newer version installed", and it will not install.

I have tried using the UNINSTALL FLASHPLAYER from Adobe. This allows me to do a clean installation, but as soon as I try using any program that requires flashplayer, it gives me the message that flashplayer needs to be installed.

I am also having a problem with Nuance PDF Converter 8. This is a program that converts files into PDF and other formats. I can use PDF converter 8 to create PDF forms, but when I try to type information into the fields created by PDF converter, it locks up. However, I can take that same file and open it up under Adobe PDF Reader, and I am able to type into the fields without any problem.

I have been in contact with Nuance for weeks, and they have not been able to solve the problem. I actually have two problems. The first one is not being to get Flashplayer installed, and not being able to fill in fields on Nuance PDF Converter 8.
