Adobe -- Macromedia Flash 9

    I have just one question, does language matter when installing flash player. My Windows XP is in French and the French site is a mess and I cannot get to the download for flash, it keeps taking me to the "Adobe Store". Can I install from the American site (it is simple to get to) to a French Windows?

    Yes as on install it will ask you for language you wish to install, the French Site once you click to download Flash links to the USA site anyways.

    Halo,

    Thanks for taking time to answer, that is what I thought, but could not be sure. Is there any downside to updating at this point? Did Macromedia sell out to Adobe?

    No downside to updating, I have just done two PCs at work adn 1 of mine at home and have no ill effects from doing so, yes Macromedia was bought out by Adobe, Adobe are a pretty fair company, with no hidden agenda, I would tho untick the damm Yahoo Toolbar inclusion which alot of free software seems to be bundling with themselfs.. unless you want it!

    Thanks so much and just 1 more thing. I should have thought of all of this at once, but I am a little slow :eek: . Do I need to install a version for IE and Firefox or does 1 get all?

    Its no bother at all.. so fire away with questions :)

    When I looked at the installer and the files it was loading it did all major browsers,
