Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

Not real clear about your problem - please explain in detail...if you're talking about what version of Internet Explorer you're running, open a browser window, click on the 'Help' button, then click on 'About Internet Explorer': you should then see what version and update number you're using...

I am also running "Firefox",som I have to close firefox first to see what windows Im using.
How do I close firefox to then go to "Help"?
Does Adobe Flash Player have "problems"?
I cannot seem to open any Youtube shows, say's have to add "quicktime" cept one cannot do full screen with Free Quick time?

    Hi

Just click the Red X in the top right hand corner of Firefox to close it, which will allow you to then view Internet Explorer if its running behind Firefox's open browser window.

Or close both down the same way and then only open one of them at a time to get to the Help > About option, which gives the version of the application.

Adobe Flash Player can be troublesome at times as can Quicktime.

I would run the below and see if it helps any, but you will also need to let us know what Windows Version and Service Pack you are using, just right click My Computer/Computer and choose Properties.

Would imagine when you mention Windows 7 or 8 that you are refering to Internet Explorer versions 7 and 8, but dont update just yet as the problem may not be the browser and by updating you can at times mask a problem and make it harder to find or cause new problems by updating a broken application.

Flash gets installed in IE and also a flash plugin gets installed for Firefox. You really have to go through two installs to get flash working in FF.

    Go here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about
with FF and then with IE to see what version you are running. If you are not running the latest, each browser will point you to a different file to get flash updated.
