Adobe Reader 7.0.8 Issues/Removal

I have been trying to uninstall Adobe Reader 7.0.8 using control panel but i get this message.

"The patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package."


I have tried deleting the folder and that will not work either.
Tried Ccleaner but the program is still there.
I have also tried updating to a newer version but that will not work either because i get an error saying that the old version can not be removed.
I am not sure how to use Brute Force Uninstall to get rid of it either.

Can anyone help me remove this program? I am sure it causes freezing problems with playing Bf2142 and when i try and login to my bank account I.E. freezez and the adobe reader program starts up on it own.

You could try using Windows Clean up if still having problems
