Adobe Reader 9

Good evening, i'm hoping someone can help.
I have just downloaded Adobe Reader 9 which was all good but now the setup gets to 12.47% and then wont go any further.
I have cancelled it and started the setup again but it is still stalling on 12.47%.
I am on dial up but still, it should not take over an hour and still not move - should it?
Would appreciate any help- thank you.

 

not sure i can help you with your adobe problem exactly, but i would like to point out that there are alternative pdf readers that seem to work real well...

i use primopdf and it's also a pdf writer as well as a reader

Thanks very much thesmokingun, that was quick ; i am now downloading the one you suggested, and hopefully that will do the trick. I suppose one gets stuck on what one is used to; a change is as good as a rest .

 

Don't know if you're still around thesmokingun, but i downloaded primopdf okay but it wont open!

PrimoPDF is a converter, not a reader. For a reader alternative to Adobe Reader, try Foxit Reader.
