Have a new computer, still trying to get all downloads and get it set up, was so comfortable with old ME, but learning and trying to learn XP. I downloaded update for Adobe Reader 7, but Adobe Reader 4 is still on computer. I thought it would replace itself. Should I uninstall the Adobe Reader 4? I have Zone Alarm as virus/spy/firewall. What is your opinion of this? Had spybot before, AVG. Should I change, or leave it as it is? I know I am a dunce, but looked on internet and couldn't find answers.Thanks.

yes uninstall the old adobe reader you dont need it anymore.. dont have more than ONE antivirus and firewall on your system. if your happy with zonealarm and AVG keep them they are both good programes. also check out this link it is realy helpfull. http://www.majorgeeks.com/page.php?id=20

    Ditch Adobe altogether
Then download & install Foxit (Better, Quicker, less annoying no update BS) http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4763

If you must keep adobe I recommend you uninstall any previous versions before installing 7
