adobe won't run?obe

I type in an address and a PDF file from the web should pop up,. only I get this message instead

Ive tried restoring my XP computer to an earlier date when I think I didnt have the problem, it still won't read the pdf from the web
my PDFs stored on my computer work fine

do you think it makes a difference I use adobe 6?

I was going to suggest you try IE and see if it works ok.

 

Yes, very likely; also, Adobe 6 is very insecure, you really need to update it to the latest version and check regulary for updates.

Or use a faster (and probably safer) alternative such as Foxit Reader.

 

I am stunned you guys noticed that, I didnt think that made a lick of difference!
yes in fact, it Adobe runs fine on Internet explorer!
