Hello
I just noticed that Adobe is having vulnerabilities with a few of its programs like Adobe reader 9, Air, flash media player.
Has anyone heard about these and how to protect from them?

 

Down load "Securnia" Many of us up here run it, it monitors programs and alerts you to problems then helps with solutions.

There has been quite a few vulnerabilities with Adobe products, most are easily cured some require a bit of help. The Securnia site has a great forum with help for problems like this.

Many folks use an alternative to Adobe Reader called Foxit Reader: http://majorgeeks.com/Foxit_Reader_d4763.html which is smaller and faster.

I'm afraid we're stuck with Adobe Flash so the best thing to do is keep Windows, your security apps. and Flash Player up to date. If you use Firefox, it would probably be a good idea to have these add-ons installed-
