    supposed to be able to use select tool, select an image in Adobe Acrobat, right click and copy to clipboard. When I right click, no options appear.

    Which version of Acrobat? free/pro/6/7

    If you select the "Select" tool then left click the image to highlight it then right click to choose an option does it then give you the option to save to clipboard? ( also you can use a keyboard shortcut of highlight the image/picture then hit CTRL - C )

    nothing happens when I right click. I think I found the problem. I think the document is "protected" from copying images. Document Properties/Security says extracting images "not allowed". I found right clicking in another document worked.
