advanced controls in volume control

Why is it that I cannot select advanced controls in my computer's volume control? (WinXP). My cousin's pos computer can use it, but mine can't? Using Creative Sound Blaster Audio on this computer...

 

Can you see the properties of your soundcard within the control panel?

 

Yeah, advanced was in there. (it doesn't have the wide-angle speaker option in it though, which kinda sucks). thanks.

 

Damn, how do you edit?

Anyways, advanced is only showing up for the microphone, just took notice to that. It's not showing up for speakers.

 

I quoted it gives you an option at the bottom of the message right hand corner. OR edit when its your message.
You have the EAX 4 yeah? Get the proper sotware from the www.creative.com
It gives you a whole bunch of option depending on the model of card you have. Otherwise plain normal windows sounds you can configure in options when you double click on the tiny little yellow sound symbol.
