I was wondering if anyone might be familiar with the Norton Disk Editor Advanced Recovery Mode. I'm trying to restore a 40G Maxtor hard drive that had its MBR erased. It's not being recognized as a logical drive and I want to fill out the tables in Advanced Recovery Mode to virtualize it.

    Thanks.

Thanks - but I tried that a few months ago. It is one of the first things that Norton suggest to do. This problem is actually more than just an erased mbr.
