Advanced System Care Ultimate

Is Advanced System Care Ultimate a safe program to use? Can it damage your computer?

 

Just want to add why I ask this-I have an Alienware 12 GB computerand I have used this software for 3 years-I have had alot of problems with crashes and have had to do full recoveries several times. This makes me wonder if their system cleaning fixes are maybe part of the problem.:confused

 

I used it before and it caused me to reformat my computer and start with a fresh OS. I found that the program does not like windows 8.1 at all

 

Thank you so much-I have tried Windows 8.1 and it has always crashed so I have stayed on 8.0. Sounds like this software just might be the reason why!

 

If you download all the updates first and then go for windows 8.1 in the window store it will work and not crash.

 

I get to the connecting devices on the download-then it stops at 80%!

 

have you tried updates through the normal way in the control panel on desktop mode

 

Yes-I get the updates through windows update-desktop mode-but same thing happens. Also when it crashes since I dont have an 8.1 disk just 8.0 I have to go back to 8.0 and start all over again! Pisses me off-lol!
