I recently installed AWC and found it to be surprisingly effective in speeding up my puter. But the one downside is that my Samsung ML1510 USB printer no longer works. I've tried having XP reinstall it, but no joy. The port info is greyed out. Can anyone clue me in?

Uninstall the Samsung drivers and software from Add/Remove programs. If you don't have the install CD, visit their web site and download the drivers. After removing, reboot the PC with the printer unplugged from the USB port. Follow the directions from Samsung to reload the drivers; most USB printers require you to install the software/drivers first, and you wait until prompted to plug into the USB port. If this doesn't work, visit your PC maker's web site (or motherboard maker's web site) and download the chipset drivers (and/or the USB if available). Then follow the steps above but install the chipset drivers before starting the printer install.... OR- you can always do a system restore to right before you installed Advanced Window Care.... good luck!!!

Thanks a million, Hopperdave, everything went like a Swiss watch and my little Sammy is printing up a storm once more. Chalk up yet another MajorGeek Triumph over the forces of electronic darkness.
