Advertising software?

    I read the rules and found that, IIRC, I can't advertise to make money. Is advertising freeware okay? :)

    If you want to advertise anything on MajorGeeks, you must contact the owners.
    BTW, how do you intend to advertise freeware? MajorGeeks has thousands of free programs on it's servers, and they all go through stringent testing.

    Three more questions: 1. How do I upload software to majorgeeks.com? 2. After uploading, how do I determing the number of downloads of the software? 3. I deleted the forum intro e-mail too quickly. How do I reach the owners of majorgeeks.com?

    1. To upload software you must contact the owners. The software will be tested and if the owners decide so, will be listed on MajorGeeks.
    2. On the program's details page you'll see the number of downloads.
    3. Scroll to the bottom of this page and click Contact Us.

    Just to make one thing clear. We do not allow advertising of any kind in the form of posts on our forums. We delete any unsolicited links to software that are posted.

    The only way to get your software hosted on MGs is to do as Eldon said and contact the owners via the instructions at the bottom of the Contact Us Page: http://www.majorgeeks.com/content/page/aboutcontact_us.html

    I thank both of you. I am sorry for the annoying near-SPAM. :( I just want my software to be out there. I contacted one of the administrators and am awaiting a response now.
