Advice Please To Possibly Delete Hard Drive

Hi,
Excuse some names etc but im new to all this so some might be the wrong wording.

A while ago i partioned my pc so as opposed to just having Drive C which is Windows 7 32 bit i would then also have Drive D of which i installed Wins 10 64 bit

Quite often now when i am in Drive D i restart / switch off pc but the next time i start it i see a black screen & a message like we need to check one of your drives.
I let this run but its always ok & Drive C loads & i continue.

How can i fix this issue as i dont like to use Drive D now because i have to keep checking the drive again each startup.

Currently the pc is set that upon start up i see text for Windows 10 64 bit & Windows 7 32 bit
If i dont touch anything Windows 7 loads,i pretty much use this all the time.

If i need to use Windows 10 then withing say 20 seconds i need to select it for it then to load.

Once done i assume i switch on pc & my C drive win 7 just loads up
