Advice please

Here are my system specs.

Motherboard ( [SLI] MSI P7N SLI-FI Nvidia nForce 750i SLI Chipset w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, IEEE-1394, Three PCI-E MB )
Processor ( Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E8400 (2x 3.0GHz/6MB L2 Cache/1333FSB) )
Memory ( 4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR2-800 PC6400 Memory Module Corsair XMS2 Xtreme w/Heat Spreader )
Xion super nova 800 Watt PSU
Operating System ( Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit )
Video Card ( NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX+ 512MB w/DVI + TV Out Video )
Hard Drive ( 320 GB HARD DRIVE [Serial-ATA-II, 3Gb, 7200 RPM, 16M Cache] )

Those are the basics but if you need more I can post them, just ask.
Now I want to over clock the CPU. I managed to get it up to around, 3.6 and I only adjusted the FSB Clock to 1550, and the memory clock to 865. Anything above that and the screen is black when booting. That seems to be as high as I can get it. I read there were holes in the clocking of MSI MOBO, meaning it might not work at say 1550, but might be stable at say 1620 or something. I alos read that I might need to clock up my RAM to make up for something since my MAX FSB on MOBO is 1333. But I don't reall yunderstand.
So does anyone have any suggested reading that can help me out, or suggestions. I seen here... http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=377598
This guy has same MOBO and CPU as I do, and he got his this high which is pretty amazing. I don't really need it that high. but I would like to hit the 4.0 club. If possible. I believe I have enough cooling. I have 6 fans, and thermal sensors on CPU, HDD and RAM to monitor temps. I also need suggested CPU stability test, and RAM stability test. Anyway back to Resident Evil 4 until I get some advice, and thanks for help. :-D
