Advice please

G`day
I`m thinking of jumping on to the 120Hz lcd bandwagon but there`s just not enough on the market. One in particular did catch my eye though and that`s the Alienware OptX aw2310. Any thoughts or links to more than the few I`ve seen so far? Oh and My only real stipulation is that it be true HD 1080p and 120Hz refresh at this resolution.:major

The Samsung 22inch looks good, but is not quite 1080p.

But for a real pro gaming experience, you gotta give it to the 22" viewsonic.

Thanx for your reply But the viewsonic just does not meet one of my two main requirements that being 1080p. I`m running on a samsung 22" now the syncmaster 226bw which is 1050p and very good 2ms pixel response time, the only two things I don`t like about it well three really is the 60Hz refresh rate the 1050p max resolution and the colour gamut which I overlooked when I brought it because it`s so good looking (stylish).

I would go for the view sonic if it was 1080 for sure.:wine

I live in hope that the manufacturers come out with some new displays soon that meet my mark Because as of tomorrow I`m back using my old viewsonic crt (pf790) due to me having already sold my samsung.rolleyes

Looking at no more than 800 bucks or so?

 

Sorry about that link, while researching, someone on the toms hardware forum said it was 1080p.

This stuff is incredibly hard to find on the net!

I found Asus will be (or have im not sure) releasing a full 1080p 120hz 24inch monitor.

I found this about it, it seems that the demand for these things is much bigger than the supply! They're incredibly rare!
