"I currenly have an AMD XP 3000+ with 1024mb ram and a sapphire ati 9800 pro with a chieftec 360watt psu.

First off I know that this rig will probably run SH3 comfortably (I hope...lol) the upgrade is more for lock on.

Right I want to get as much for my money as possible, so am I better off either.

    A. Keeping current system and simply getting a top of the range AGP gfx card This route will cost me around the £330 mark.

    Possible problems with this route

    1. Will my 360 watt psu be enough ?

2 Will the 3000+ cpu bottleneck the new gfx card ?

    B. A complete overhaul replacing all the major components so that I can go down the pci express route. This would mean replacing the motherboard, processor, gfx card and probably the psu too I believe. This would probably cost me about £650.

    Possible problems with this route.

    1. Will this cost result in major difference in gaming power over the first option of just replacing the gfx card.

I would rather get more for my money so any advice out there would be welcome"

    Any ideas guys?
