IMO, RAM is almost always worth upgrading. However, 1GB is a fair amount, and your system should run really well. (in fact, it will run Windows Vista nicely) Whether or not you should upgrade depends alot on what you use the computer for, as well as your plans for the future. I have almost the same rig at home (same mobo, CPU and GPU), but with 2GB, and it runs all my applications (even the most intensive ones) without lag.

photoshop, bryce and gaming is my main thing and it al runs fine but i`m intrested in what gain i can get from twice as much memory..will it blow me away by running faster/beter in games or wil it be something i don`t even notice..a second gpu in sli won`t do it on the gaming part so i`m checking other ways to inprove my sys but low cost
