    Ok I have a foxconn M03 651 mobo

    and a p4 2.66 cpu 512k 533 fsb socket 478 and this cooler
    http://www.masscool.com/masscool/Product.aspx?ID=76
Stock temps range between 27c 33C at idle and 35C- 42c at full load depending on how hot it is in my room but I have never seen it higher than 44C (that i have noticed)
my Question is that can in over clock it to 2.8
with My current cooling (yea I know that it hard for you to tell me with out seeing My System In person)
(just looking for a ball park guss) 200 Mhrz is not that much of a O'c
My bios don't have any voltage controls or Fbs/multiplier settings all i have is the Super speed Auto over clocking Setting

i can Tweak the mem timeings
2t 2.5t and 3t are my choices and My ram is ddr400 but is currently running at
pc 2700 specs as thats what my board supports

pushing 200 mrz over standard is not that big of OC is it ?

Hi I have owned a few P4 systems from 2.4 another 2.4and a 2.8 and have a 3.2 laptop the thing i found with the 1 mobo was a Asus board stock standed the other 2 pc mobo cheep DFI boards stock stranded motherboards manly meant for office work only.
The down fall with that is that it had no overclock settings in BIOS for cpu and the AGP only run at 4x .... That was the thing i hated the most was having the cpu power and no speed in the agp section locked at 4x to play games.

The only time I over clocked the board other then changing the voltage to the core and that was to use a PILL overclocker software it will let you over clock the PILL chip, you will have to read your motherboard PILL chip numbers to place into the software to make it run right for your mobo.

BUT BE WARNED This is not good for your Mobo in any way unless done right and even then not really safe.

I cooked my Asus Mobo with this type of software it ran for a little while after I overclocked it and I only had it overclocked a little for a few day then became unstable so I went back to stranded setting but the damage was done and the Mobo die about 3 weeks later.

But this is the only way I know of how to overclock a P4 Mobo unless your motherboard allows you to do it in the Bios.

    Hope this helps... Later Skippy258
