Aerocool Gatewatch 2

Hi,
I recently built a pc and then tried to install an aerocool gatewatch 2 fan controller unit. I wired it all up correctly, yet when i turn my pc on the aerocool unit beeps once immediatly, then shuts power off to the computer. If i unplug the power for the aerocool, my pc will work normally, yet when the unit has power, my pc wont turn on.
I thought maybe this is an auto shutdown feature, as the unit could think the temperature is too high or something?

Any ideas how to solve the problem?
