What is it? I've been working on a machine for a friend and that appeared after I cancelled an install of FireFox, It was not from Mozilla, the reason I cancelled it and went to Mozilla and downloaded the proper one. Now, I can't remove that program from my "Add/Remove Programs" list. I've ran a full scan with Avast, Malware-bytes, and Rouge killer and removed all the objects that they deemed "Infected".

    It's a Compaq running Windows Vista 32-bit.

I see on a thread where it came with a download from download dot com.
One of the reasons I tell everyone to run away from CNet and all the downloads offered there. It is not a safe site!
Stick to MajorGeeks, file hippo and softpedia.

I suggest you post in the Malware Removal section of the forum. Or, perhaps a moderator can move this topic to that section.

A search on aff packages virus yields many references about removing it. I have not personally dealt with it, so I can't recommend a specific reference.
