I just checked the MGs download and ASC 9 Pro downloaded without a problem. Have you tried temporarily suspending your AntiVirus protection when downloading?
It could well be that as the download is a 37.7MB zip archive, that your AV is unpacking the download and causing a time out.

I had replied to the OP the day after his initial post about this stating that the offer was relisted on MG's the day I replied and that I had successfully downloaded the .zip file. _nullptr may be right.

ASC Pro is the easiest way to give yourself problems you didn't have before. Count yourself lucky you couldn't download it.

Like anything else, if you don't familiarize yourself, you could run into problems.

I'm running ASC Pro (but not the MG's 6-month offer). Initially, I lost Autoplay for my USB hard drives after running the full scan/optimization. I went into the details of Deep Optimization and told ASC to ignore disabling Autoplay and my USB hard drives showed again when I plugged them in. THAT, really, was the only problem I had caused by my unfamiliarity with ASC Pro.

The underlying problem with every so-called 'optimization' program is that they are like most 'Slimming Aids', they promise you so much but actually benefit you very little and quite often mess up a system.
I wouldn't recommend anyone who isn't already a very technically knowledgeable IT/Windows user, to ever use them.
