After Dark 3.2 - So close yet so far away!

After searching for ages, I finally found a site that allows you to download After Dark 3.2 that works for Windows XP. You have to download the modules seperately. I'm thrilled, because I used to love playing Lunatic Fringe.

I downloaded the program, put in the serial code given, extracted the modules in the same folder, even set the compatibility mode for Windows 95 as suggested. I get as far as opening up After Dark and it works perfectly fine -- but as soon as I click on a module and hit "Demo", the entire thing crashes. I do CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and I get this message:

Could anyone please try downloading the program on Windows XP, or at least tell me what I could possibly be doing wrong? I'm usually pretty savvy and figuring out problems with programs, but this is just frustrating. I'm in need of a Lunatic Fringe fix!
