After Effects Of Home Search Assistent?

    Hey thnx every1 for the help from last time but somethings really weird...
    this happened right after the removal of HomeSearchAssistent

    first of all the spybot's permanent blocker got ruined.. well i just reinstalled it and it got fixed but.....

    my korean ime also got ruined.... when i see the advanced tab in control panel/date,time,languages/addlanguage,, It says that advanced text is disabled and when i check off the disable it says that its turned on .... but the problem is that the language bar doesnt appear at the bottom right of the screen and pressing right alt doesnt alternate the language to type in....

    also my Norton Antivirus Auto-Protect got ruined... i cant turn it on, just like spybot SD..... i cant reinstall this because it came with the computer and reinstalling Win Xp will do the job...

    if u know whats goin on about this help me out plz.....

    and as i have said if a reinstall of win xp will do it i have no prob doing that but i just wana know if a reinstall would be good for my computer...

    If you used that HSRemove tool, it removed a lot of my startup items as well. I had to go to my taskbar, properties, advanced and add programs that auto start back in. Optionally, manually start the program, uncheck and recheck any "start with Windows" type of buttons.

    I know for a fact that SpyBot's helper was broken in just about every case due to the hijacker itself. This was way before HSremove even existed.

    But good question Major!

    Sung, Did you use HSremove?

    guys not to worry anymore i just reinstalled the recovery disks that came with my computer and it works fine :)

    i've installed spyware blaster, spybot SD, and Ad aware.... and a firewall that came with my dsl.

    thnx for the help :)
