   After updating drivers on my uncle's box, I got the fun STOP 0xa error. I manually went through the recovery console according to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545.
   
   Now I'm stuck at the welcome screen and I've no login prompt. All safe modes give me the same screen. It's not frozen(the cursor moves). ctrl-alt-del doesnt bring it up. I'm /trying/ to avoid installing over the original.
