Try it on a different computer because it loads fine for me on two different computers (windows 2K and linux).
If you get the file, put it on a USB drive then plug in the USB stick to the misbehaving computer and move the file to the desktop.

I see from your other thread that you are in Australia. Maybe that's why you are getting a page load error.
I'll ask Bazza, who lives up in Cairns to check the link.

No problem here, plodr. The link opens instantly for me. Bazza

I'm not on Bigpond though. Bigpond is the biggest provider in OZ, and I won't guarantee their performance. I refuse to use Bigpond. :-D Ripoff merchants. Bazza

    Thanks, I'm running IEFix now.

What about this one - C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus XtremeG

Sorry for the late reply guys, I've seemed to have run IE Fix incorrectly - the folder still opens at start up for some reason.

    Well I certainly feel stupid.

    That's worked, thanks fellas.

The DLink folder still seems to open, can I do something along those lines again?

I wouldn't suggest a registry change. The difference between the two items opening at startup, one is a windows system file and the other is a program that you've installed.
I suggest when the DLink opens, rather than just closing it, look through all the choices. You might not have done the full configuration and that's why it keeps popping up. There might also be a setting that needs to be changed.

    Windows folders open automatically

I had the same problem after installing the updates from D-Link. The folder at "C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus XtremeG\" opened at startup after the install. I went into the registry using regedit, searched for D-Link and found the folders below listed:

    C:\Program Files\D-Link\
    C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus XtremeG\
    C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus XtremeG\drivers\

The last two folders existed on the hard drive but were empty - of course since this is the folder that always opened start up. The correct folders are also present and include utilities and drivers and are located at:

    C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus XtremeG DWL-G132\Drivers

I renamed the last two keys to the correct folder names of

    C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus XtremeG DWL-G132\

    and

    C:\Program Files\D-Link\AirPlus XtremeG DWL-G132\Drivers

I then deleted the empty folders on the hard drive.

That fixed my problem. the empty folder no longer opens at startup, the D-Link utility loads and system connects.
