Had a virus, and successfully removed it using the tutorial here. At the same time, replaced the shimeng.dll file (every application on launch was producing the "shimeng.dll is not a valid windows image" error) from another computer running the same OS (same version . Now we are unable to print. This is a network printer that works fine on other computers. I have tried installing new drivers and connecting directly to no avail. No test page, unable to print from notepad, unable to run printing utilities. Tried restarting the spooler service, but no luck. Any ideas would be welcomed!!

    1) The spooler is set to start automatically in services, and can be seen running in the task manager. Tried stopping it and restarting the service -- no change.
    2) Yes already deleted the printer (as described in the article) and added the printer back in again. No luck.....
