AGP Bus Upgrade

Hi
Im a total newbie to forums
Just wondering if it is possible to upgrade from an AGP 2 bus 1.5 volt (4x) to an AGP 3 bus (8x) and if so where would i get one ??
I know they are outdated, but i still thought i would be able to get some info on this somewhere online.

Why would i want to?

I have an intel D850GB Mobo
423 socket
AGP (obviously)
RDRAM
all the fun stuff.

This year I have bought
512mb PC800 RDRAM
Gigabyte N76G256D-RH (Nvidia 7600GS) AGP Graphics Card
a socket 423 to socket 478 adapter
p4 2.8GHZ 400MHZ FSB CPU to go in the 478 adapter (fastest 400MHZ I could find)

So i have pretty much overcapitalised on a seriously outdated board
In for a penny, in for a pound !!

The gigabyte card is bundled with their "V-Tuner 3" software which allows you to overclock the 2D, 3D and memory clock of the card.
But the little bugger, wont do what it is meant to
It will automatically overclock the 2D from 400MHZ to 415MHZ
but it fails on the other 2.
just wondering if the bus speed itself is holding it back
the card is not even meant to work on AGP 2, but it does
The card is designed to run at 8x, so if I can update it, I might as well.

Any tips will be appreciated
