AGP differences

Can anyone explain to me the different voltages of AGP cards/slots? Is it correct that there are 3.3v AGP and 1.5v? How do i know what the voltage is of my slot to ensure that I used the correct voltage card? I assume that i can find the voltage of the card by reading the specs. I am trying to find a better video card for an older system and want to make sure I know what I am looking for.

All I can find in my system docs is that its AGP version 1.0.

Is there a correlation between 2x vs 4x and the different voltages? What about the version # and voltages?

AGP 1.0 aka AGP 1x/2x is 3.3V

AGP 2.0 aka AGP 4x 3.3V/1.5V

AGP 3.0 aka AGP 8x 1.5V

for the big brands anything in the Geforce 4 line up except the TI 4200-8x, Ti-4800, ti-4800se, MX440-8x, MX4000 are AGP 4X which is also AGP 1.0 compliant and Radeon 900pro and below are all AGP 1.0 compliant

Nvidia Riva 128 and ATI Rage IIC and below are all AGP 1.0 cards.

OK. So it seems to me that it is pretty much impossible to install the wrong voltage card in a slot due to how the cards are "keyed." So if my slot is AGP 1.0, it is 3.3v, and the notch is towards the connector end of the slot. Therefore i should be able to install any card that supports 2x AGP and is keyed with either the notch toward the connector end OR notched in both the 3.3.v and 1.5v locations?

I was looking at maybe a Nvidia GeForce2 MX 200 (or 400) or the GeForce 3 Ti200, both in either the 32 MB or 64 MB.
