ahhh!!!!!!blue screen of death

My pc is giving me the BSOD when i log on or when i update or install something. i need help!!!

 

What is the exact error that you get?

 

I'm stupid. i didn' think of writing it down. But it always poped up at the log in screen or when i was updating. I reforrmated my hard drive and after that it always gave me the bsod.

 

well next time it comes up write down the error and then from there we can see whats causing the BSOD.

 

When does the screen come up?

Can you boot into Safe Mode?

 

When i log on.

 

Hold down the F8 key while the computer is booting up.

You will be sent to a screen with some options on it and try selecting " Last known good configuration (your most recent settings that worked) "

 

Or try the repair if you have your CD handy.

 

i think my repair cd is damaged. so i brough it 2 a pc fixer and it turned out that some one had screwed up the cmos. (i have 3 little brothers) so it works now

i didnt use a program... i brought it 2 a pc repair place
