Ahhhhh help!!!!

so dig it... I just finished building me a nice little comp and in the process of installing Win XP pro. Well everything goes fine till it gets to the copying files to install, it gets about 57-60% through and stops wantin to copy files. It seems only dll files is whats not copying. At first i thought it was the OS disk so i called microsoft and orderd a new disk and same thing. I'm lost dont know what to do, ill give my comp specs and stuff. Plz help me.

WD cavalier 320g sata HD
LG dvd cd-rom
512mb x2 ram

 

well after about a hour of web surfin, i come to find out it was a bad stick of memory. I pulled it out and presto it worked and im typeing this response on that comp.
