AIM crash?!

Ok, two days ago i was gonna get on AIM (aol instant messenger) and it signs on and shows the buddy list for 2 seconds, then crashes. when i mouse-over the aim icon in the tray, it goes away (which tells me it crashed) i have run every type of virus and spyware scan i can do and it still happens! i have rummaged through the registry and deleted all AIM keys, ive deleted all aim directories, even the ones in application data!. Still, a no go. I have also reinstalled aim a number of times. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THIS IS HAPPENING?! Its ticking me off! I dont want to use gaim or trillian either, because i dont like those. Also if it means anything the virus/spyware programs im running are: Norton Antivirus 2005, AVG7, Avast4---Spybot S&D, Adaware PE, Microsoft Antispyware. Thanks a TON for the help

The aim fix, did not find anything, so i went to the authors site and took his advice on installing 5.2 instead of 5.9. That did NOT work, but i when i typed in my other screename it signed on and is working...maybe its some type of flaw.

I found out some more information:
---I have 3 screenames (will refer to them as a,b,and c)---
Screename 'A' my primary one, is the one that wont work. It is linked to B and C.
I tried logging in with B, which singed on itself and A, but aim crashed.
Then, I logged in with C which is linked Only to A, and it worked. So im on my primary, just....not so primary-ish. Is this is some type of obscure bug or flaw or something that i have found? I thought it was, so i submitted a bug report thing on AIM.com. We'll see what happens....Thank you, though, for the aim fix prog. I will burn that to a CD because i have had some nasty aim viruses before and had to re-format to get em outa there...But going back, I dont see why i have 2 secondary screenames linked to the primary and ONLY the second-secondary one works!?
