AIM Direct Connect problem

I have a problem with my AIM, wondering if there's anything I can do to fix it-

Whenever I directly connect with someone, I click on the icon to send files, but the file picker window opens up, says it's logging me in, but either doesn't load or says the service is temporarily unavailable. It's been like this since yesterday, and my friends can send to me fine, I just can't send because my file picker won't open. If it is temporarily unavailable for me, how come it isn't for anyone else? Anyone know how to fix this?

 

It sounds virus or software related need some additional info to solve like any changes made recently or such.

 

I just did an A squared scan, and it did not pick anything for AIM. I did try reinstalling, that did not work. Just everytime it tries to load and says the service is temporarily unavailable, and if i would like to try again.
