AIM keeps dieing on me

    I doubt it is due to my internet connection since I play online video games all the time... WHat happens is sometimes my aim just gets kicked off and it auto reconects? I do have McAfee Personal firewall.....
    Any suggestions.... is it the aol server or ????

    did I spell dieing right?

    If you are using a proxy make sure to go into Prefs and configure it to use a proxy. I know i was using one at a camp i went to and i had the same problem until i changed the settings.

    it has happened to me occasionally. nothing to worry about since it auto-connects back up, right?

    yeah but i can get quite annoying if you are talking to someone and it disconnects you.
