Aksas amber fans

Just letting you modders out there know that there is a competitor for the 120 mm akasa amber fan! beleive it or not, lol

'Hyper' who mainley make very quiet almost silent psu's have developed a 120 mm case fan, At just 2dba more than the 120 akasa amber fan at 20dba with a 3rd more airflow. 120 Ambers push in the region of 40 cfm, where as the hyper 120's push 60cfm!

There are no specifcation details on there, but i did read sumwhere, unfortunatley i cant remeber where, that the specs were 20 dba and 60 cfm.

So if u want more cfm and a bareley noticible difference in noise, this is the fan for you!

Looks good and my sys is getting noisy (new "cheap" fan). So are "120 mm akasa amber fan" one of the best on the market (performance and noise?). Am currently trying to source "HIPER" in Aus and a bit limited on distributors.

 

Yeah, these fans are good, and are really quiet when set on low with a fan speed controller. I currently have 2 x 120 akasa amber fans one in and one out keeping my system temp around 25 degrees.

The hyper 120 how ever are the tiniest bit more noisey and have a 3rd as much more cfm, so for a little bit more noise u should in theory get better performance, i havent purchased any but they cant be bad! good price too alot cheaper than akasa ambers.
