ALC882 audio not working

    I've got ALC882 audio on a Gigabyte 81945P motherboard. I'm running Windows XP and have installed all my hardware drivers however I've got no audio whatsoever. If I go to Sound in Control Panel it says "no audio device" and all the options are greyed out.

    I've tried everything I can think off and this is starting to drive me nuts. Can someone help me out? Please...
