ALC888 Realtek No audio - Driver install failure

I have an MSI K9AG Neo2-Digital and the when I try to install the drivers for the audio it gives me an installation failure

Install Realtek HD Audio Drivers Failure!!

and I can't get my mic or anything to work. Luckily I have a USB audio output that I use for sound out. But now I need a mic to play games and such. If anyone has any tips for help let me know. Thank you.

System specs MSI mobo as stated, AMD 5200+ Windsor, 4 gig Mushkin Ram, 8800 GTS SSC 640mb 320bit.

Your motherboard manufacturer has a nice service called Live Update Online. I'd suggest using that first and see if it solves your problem.
