Alcohol120% problem

Hi guys,

I have a problem with Alcohol120%. When I run it, it gives me this message: "socket error, please try later". This started probably when I installed Kaspersky antivirus. I found on the net that there might be a conflict between them, and that it can be solved if you include in the Kaspersky trusted zone the .exe file of Alcohol.

Ive tried that but with no luck. It stopped giving me the previous message and gave me the following: "Alcohol Emulation Core - File not accessable" (and yes it is accessable not accessible, strange!). Can please someone give me a hand? Am I doing something wrong with Kaspersky antivirus settings?

Disable Kaspersky( for short time),then see if Alcohol is OK,if it's not reinstal.Is it buyed version or cracked.

 

I disabled Kaspersky and used Alcohol. Still the same problem. As for the version, I don't know a friend installed it for me. Is there anything to do now?

 

I am guessing there isn't much to do. In this case is there another program similar to Alcohol120%, i.e. that give you a virtual drive, to mount images on?
