I had trouble trying to download from that site. It seems they want to have you download some kind of setup file. I located a later version and have attached it.

To save the file to a flash drive, click on the attachment. In firefox, you will get a dialog box asking you where to save it. It will either save it to the desktop or the location you gave in firefox options under the General tab. In IE it will ask you to save it to a location. Save it to your desktop. Then just connect your flash drive, open up My Computer and drag the file from the Desktop to the Flash Drive that is shown in My Computer.

When you double clicked on the zip file, you should see an exe file. You have to extract the exe file from the zip file, place it on the desktop and then double click the exe file. You should do this in an admin account. If you have already done this then I am not sure what the problem may be. You may have to purchase another modem with better support.

Edit. Even if you do not have archive software on your computer, XP should be able to open up the zip file.

ok, I extracted the file, double clicked in it. It asked if I wanted to load the driver, I said ok, it never went any further. So I thoight it was done and I restarted the computer. When it came back up I tried to use the modem and the computer didn't see it (or didn't like it).

    ideas?

Other than you may have tried to install it in a User Account and not an Admin account, I have no other ideas. Maybe somebody else on this board can offer some ideas.

I don't even know where I would find an admin account as we are just users!
