I recently switched my motherboard from its Dell case to a new one that I bought, and everytime I boot it comes up with the error message: "Alert! Previous Fan Failure" Of course I could ignore the message and sound, but I would just like to know if there was any way that I could disable the message. Thanks.

I'm not firmiliar with Dells, but...I would check the bios and see what all the safety features are set on!! Also...if it is the CPU fan that it is talking about...make sure the fan is connected to the motherbord!!!

That's not uncommon, but it's mostly seen on folks trying to replace the stock Dell heatsink/fan assembly with an aftermarket one. It's just an incompatibilty with the fan header on the Dell mobo and the fan in the new case you are connecting it to.
