All-in-one Program?

Hey guys I was just wondering if there are any good free programs that can scan for and download all the needed driver updates to keep my system running smoothly?
I have DriverMax at the moment which i paid $10 for a month so i could update all of my stuff. This runs out in a few days and I'm not comfortable with having to wait 24 hours after every 2 driver downloads in the free version.

Hi

To be honest don't rely on any of those driver scanning applications at all as for the majority of times they just find generalised drivers that while are named the same as the one on your system they may not be the correct ones. Reason is that many hardware makers use custom chips from these companies and the general driver mat not work.

So if you are not having and driver issues then leave well alone, just check either your PC maker if the likes of Dell, HP etc or motherboard maker for latest driver and stick with them, the only driver I would suggest updating if your PC has a dedicated graphic card is thus one as the makers drivers like NVIDIA, ATI and Intel are fine.

Using one of these types of scanners is shy many users in recient times have audio issues.

Yeah fair enough, so if I want to update my drivers basically i search the exact model of the hardware and try to find updated drivers online?

Hi

Yes exactly, but if your PC is working ok now, there is no real need to update drivers, I think the only ones I have updated a few times this year are the Network driver and Graphics.
