all i get is a "this program has stopped working...blah blah" and exits the game:confused

hopes any of it would help, it's getting relly irritable with an unstable system, also i just bought new ram and memtested is as my previous was junk

    Hi

Over posting Blah Blah Blah, was there any more information in the error message? also look in Event Viewer in both the Application and System logs for any error listing at the time of the crash and review the message to see if it lists a faulting module or file?

If there is a message at the time of the crash, then take either a screenshot of it (may need to crop it and attach to your post) or copy and paste into a notepad file the text and attach to your post, as per these instructions HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

I would be tempted if its only games this happens too and not any other application, to clean install your graphic card drivers,

Looking at your DXDiag note it seems as though your PC couldn't handle playing those games, which would be why you get CTD. You only have 1G RAM to begin with and many games these days have that as a minimum requirement.

Got to www.canyourunit.com to see if your PC stands up to the task of running these games you want to play.

I think 1GB is a major bottleneck but may not be the issue.

When playing Bioshcok 2 it was eating up around 650mb sometimes as much as 1gb

It's not just the RAM... that CPU isn't exactly a beast anymore either.

Reminds me of my back-up XP system: 5 years ago it was a high-end gaming beast that made my friends green with envy. Today it's a reliable web and email machine, that can run older games, but that chokes and dies in flames (metaphorically) on any game developed after 2007. I would never waste my time trying to run Mass Effect or Bioshock 2 on it...
